The Farm

The pigs do a great job turning over the soil!

Heathfield Farm covers 32 acres and is on level ground, with a very fast-draining sandy soil.  It is on the outskirts of Broadclyst Village, on the road that leads to Cranbrook.

The farm is divided by hedges and fences into 4 main fields, plus an orchard and several farm buildings.

In one of the fields we have polytunnels and outdoor vegetables, pigs and apple trees.  The other three fields are grazed by sheep and cattle.

The farm buildings are a large wooden barn, used to store equipment and machinery; a smaller workshop barn for tools; and a meeting room / kitchen with a pleasant outdoor seating area.
